The IRBC is delighted to announce the appointment of Dermot Breen to the Committee as Voting Member. Dermot, well known as an astute and careful observer, will need no introduction to most birders in Ireland, many of whom will have made the long pilgrimage to Galway to see some of the many great birds that Dermot has found, most recently the Thayer's Gull at Cleggan . We look forward to Dermot's contribution on the Committee and feel sure that the Irish birding community will wish him well in his new role.
