Please note that as of 1st January 2017, records of Bearded Reedling Panurus biarmicus from core breeding areas will no longer be reported in the Irish Rare Bird Report. It will remain on the Appendix 2 list of rarities however, pertaining to records of birds on migration or outside of core breeding areas.
Breeding records should be sent to the Irish Rare Breeding Birds Panel (IRBBP) for inclusion in their annual report. The IRBBP Secretary, Gerry Murphy can be contacted by e-mail at secretary.irbbp@gmail.com.
